Family Portrait
Sculpted portrait group, of 6 family members, sculpted for a major exhibition for the Sculpture Society. These sculptures capture a moment in time, when the children were together in the year of 2012. this is a valuable monument for a close family.

Commemorative
While working at Loretto Normanhurst Girls College, Sandra did some sculpture for the school grounds. The image on the right is a piece in memory of Saint Mary MacKillop that was donated to the school.

Featuring Local Uki Artist Sandra Jones
Sandra worked as a high school teacher for a number of years after completing a BA Ed at NSW Uni. Her work required teaching her students how to use many different mediums in sculpting, drawing and painting and subsequently she has completed a large number of art works over the years. Sandra holds workshops upon request, at Mountain View Guest House, where students can explore the magnificant heritage listed National Parks in their spare time.

Art Workshops can be arranged at MVGH on request and are subject to availability. Sandra teaches painting, sculpture and textiles in various mediums, using diverse technique.
Artwork featured here is just a small selection from a larger body of work, many of which were commissioned pieces so are no longer in Sandra’s possession. Sandra’s main body of unsold work is stored at her studio, where she works as an artist and teacher.
